Welcome to Little Miss African American Scholarship Pageant. This educational program is in a pageant Format. dedicated to preparing young ladies between the ages of 6 thru 12 to become self-sufficient adults and tomorrows future leaders.
Founded in 1992, based on the idea that young people must begin with a strong foundation, LMAA uses a pageant format to provide an early introduction to the arts, and training in public speaking while promoting individual creativity and stimulating a heightened cultural understanding. We believe that within each girl is the promise of unlimited possibilities; we offer the pageant as a vehicle for bringing out that potential. This annual educational program consists of: coaching, tutoring, guest lectures and demonstrations, through the use of technology. The participants are instructed in voice projection, poise, body movement and memory techniques.
